The Venue
We are beyond excited to be getting married at The Mill at Fine Creek in Powhatan, just west of Richmond, VA. We have included some images from the venue and some information, but feel free to visit their website for more information!
The Mill at Fine Creek is a wedding venue in Richmond Virginia – purpose-built for this magic, a quiet space made to celebrate love. Whether you envision an intimate elopement or a grand weekend affair, their historic 10 acres of grounds and facilities are the ideal getaway to make magic moments with the people you hold dear.
The Mill offers three unique ceremony sites, two getting ready spaces, accommodations in their on-site guest cottages and full/exclusive access to their picturesque grounds. For the reception, The Mill can accommodate up to 150 guests.
Here is a note from the Mill's founder:
"Since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved to create joy. To cook the kinds of meals that bring people together. To craft events that feel unique and yet timeless. To conjure moods and environments that give love a place to deepen. That vision blossomed as Tim and I toured the gristmill ruins and the old miller’s cottage, and I knew I’d found my place to create magic.
In July of 2004, we opened the Mill at Fine Creek. It’s not only the culmination of our hopes and dreams, but a place built for yours, too. Our family-owned and operated business is made up of people who, like me, love the wedding planning process. From the day you say “yes” to the day you say “I do,” we work with you to make your dream a reality."
